Abstract

Allama Iqbal’s poetry presents a profound vision of humanism that transcends cultural, religious, and geographical boundaries. His concept of Khudi (selfhood) emphasizes the spiritual elevation and empowerment of the individual as a means to uplift humanity collectively. Iqbal perceives humanity as a divine trust, calling for compassion, justice, and equality as the pillars of social order. Through his poetic philosophy, he encourages mankind to rise above materialism and rediscover moral and spiritual values that lead to universal brotherhood. This paper explores Iqbal’s vision of humanism, its philosophical foundations, and its implications for the modern world, where spiritual emptiness and social alienation dominate human experience.
