Abstract

This paper explores the profound relationship between humanity and the cosmos as expressed in Sufi literature. Within mystical traditions, the human being is viewed as both a microcosm and a reflection of the divine order that governs the universe. The study examines the metaphysical, philosophical, and poetic dimensions of this relationship in classical and modern Sufi writings, focusing on figures such as Ibn Arabi, Rumi, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, and Allama Iqbal. The paper analyzes how Sufi poets articulate the unity of being (wahdat al-wujood) and emphasize the interdependence of the soul and the universe in achieving spiritual realization. Through hermeneutic and comparative analysis, this study reveals that the Sufi conception of the cosmos transcends physical dimensions and envisions a moral-spiritual harmony where human consciousness serves as a bridge between the material and divine realms.
